At Moroccan Woven, we are dedicated to delivering authentic, handcrafted Moroccan rugs from the Atlas Mountains directly to your doorstep. Please review our shipping procedures below to understand how your order will be processed and delivered.
1. Processing & Production Time

🕒 Processing time

  • Ready-to-ship rugs: 1–2 business days. These rugs are already made and ready to leave our workshop.

  • Made-to-order (custom) rugs: 3–4 weeks to make (4–6 weeks for rugs larger than 8×10 ft).

Note: Our custom rugs undergo a meticulous hand-weaving process by skilled artisans, followed by careful washing and drying in the pristine mountain air to ensure the highest quality before shipment.

2. Shipping Transit Times

✈️ Delivery time (after your order leaves our workshop):

  • USA & Canada: 3–5 business days

  • Europe & UK: 2–4 business days

  • Rest of the world (including Australia & New Zealand): 5–10 business days

Shipping cost: free on every order, worldwide – including the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

These are estimates from our carriers. Customs checks can sometimes add a few days.

3. Carriers & Tracking

We use reliable international carriers (such as FedEx International Priority or DHL Express) to ensure your rug arrives safely and quickly.

  • Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this number to monitor your package's journey in real-time.

4. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

  • USA: Import duties are included. We pay them for you, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.

  • UK and EU: Our prices do not include import VAT or duties. Whether they are charged depends on your country and on customs. If they are, the carrier collects them before delivery.

  • Other countries: Import taxes may apply on arrival, depending on your local laws.

5. Shipping Protection

We take great care in packaging your rug to withstand international travel. If you receive a damaged package, please contact us immediately at Contact@moroccanwoven.com with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue with the carrier.
